We would like to remind Custodians members that our Associations is accredited by the Central Firearms
Registry to award Professional Hunter Status to members who are in possession of a valid provincial
Professional Hunters Permit.

- CPHC-SA is accredited in terms of the Firearms Control Act to aware Professional Hunter Status to members in
good standing and in possession of a valid and current provincial Nature Conservation Professional Hunters’

- Custodians’ Professional Hunter Status will allow a Custodians member in good standing, to apply for firearm
licences for professional hunting purposes.

- The Firearms Control Act defines a professional hunter as any person who supervises, escorts, offers
to, or agrees to supervise or escort a client, for reward in connection with the hunting of a wild or
exotic animal and who is authorised to do so in terms of any applicable provincial law.
